Why won't my Audi A6's engine start?

When I try to start my Audi A6, the engine won't turn over. The lights and radio still work, and the car was working fine yesterday. What could be causing this issue?

It could be due to a dead battery. Check your battery's connections and try jump-starting the car. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the battery.

S

Another possible cause could be a faulty starter motor. Try tapping on the starter motor with a wrench to see if that helps. If not, you may need to have it replaced.

C

It's also possible that your fuel pump has failed. This can happen suddenly and without warning. Check your fuel pump to see if it's making any noise when you turn the key. If not, it may need to be replaced.
