I've recently noticed that the MMI touch screen on my Audi A8 has stopped responding to my touch. It used to work perfectly fine but now I can't seem to get it to register any touch inputs. Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows how to solve it?
ReplyIt is possible that the touch screen has become uncalibrated or needs to be reset. Try holding down the power button on the MMI panel for 10 seconds to perform a restart. Otherwise, it may need to be recalibrated by a professional.
Sometimes debris or residue from cleaning products can interfere with the touch screen's sensitivity. Try cleaning the screen with a soft, dry cloth and see if that improves its responsiveness.
If a simple restart or cleaning doesn't work, it could be a hardware issue. In this case, it is best to bring your car to an authorized Audi service center for further diagnosis and repair.
