Why is the MMI system in my Audi A1 not responding?

I recently purchased an Audi A1 and noticed that the MMI (Multi-Media Interface) system is not responding to my touch or voice commands. How can I troubleshoot and fix this issue?

First, try resetting the MMI system by holding down the control knob for 10 seconds until the screen goes blank. Then release and wait for the system to reboot. If this doesn't work, check for any software updates available for the MMI system.

Another possible reason for unresponsive MMI system could be a disconnected or faulty control module. Check the connections and if needed, have it replaced by a certified mechanic.
