Why is the Audi A1's transmission shifting uncomfortably?

I have noticed that my Audi A1's transmission has been shifting roughly lately. What could be causing this issue?

Based on my experience, the most common cause for rough shifting in the Audi A1 is low transmission fluid. I would recommend checking the fluid level and topping it off if needed.
