Why is my Audi A8 making a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that my Audi A8 is making a strange noise whenever I turn the steering wheel, especially when I am making sharp turns. It sounds like a grinding or rubbing noise and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any ideas on what might be the issue and how to fix it?

The strange noise you are hearing could be coming from your power steering system. It's possible that there is a leak or a problem with one of the components, causing the grinding noise. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it checked and potentially replace any faulty parts.

Have you checked your tires? Sometimes uneven tread wear or low tire pressure can cause a noise when turning. Make sure to check all four tires and inflate them to the proper pressure if needed.
