Why is my Audi A6 making a whining noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed that when I accelerate, my Audi A6 makes a loud whining noise. It seems to be coming from the engine area. Any idea what could be causing this?

It is possible that the whining noise is coming from a worn-out belt in your engine. This could be caused by normal wear and tear or lack of proper maintenance. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have it inspected and potentially replaced.

Another common cause of a whining noise during acceleration is low power steering fluid. Check your fluid levels and top up if necessary. If the noise persists, it may be a sign of a leak or other issue with your power steering system.
