Why is my Audi A6 making a clicking sound when I accelerate?

I recently noticed that whenever I accelerate, my Audi A6 makes a clicking sound. It doesn't happen when I brake, only when I'm accelerating. What could be causing this issue?

The clicking sound could be coming from a worn-out CV joint. This is a common issue for Audi A6 models, especially if you have been driving with worn-out suspension components or have recently hit a pothole. It's best to have a mechanic check it out and replace the CV joint if needed.

Another possible cause of the clicking sound could be a loose belt or fan. This can happen due to wear and tear or a faulty tensioner. I recommend having a mechanic check the belt and tensioner and replace them if necessary.
