It sounds like your car may have an overheating issue. This could be due to a variety of reasons such as a faulty radiator, low coolant levels, or a malfunctioning cooling fan. It's important to get this checked by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent any further damage to your engine.

Another possibility is that there may be an oil leak in your engine. Check the oil levels and if they are low, it's important to get the leak fixed and refill the oil. An oil leak can cause serious damage to your engine if left unchecked.

If your car has been idling for long periods of time or been stuck in stop-and-go traffic, it's possible that the catalytic converter is overheating. This is a vital part of the exhaust system and if damaged, can affect the performance of your vehicle. It's best to get it checked by a mechanic.
