Why is my Audi A5 making a grinding noise when I brake?

I've noticed that my Audi A5 is making a strange grinding noise whenever I hit the brakes. It seems to be coming from the front wheels. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The grinding noise is most likely caused by worn brake pads. You should have them replaced as soon as possible.

It could also be a sign of warped brake rotors. I recommend taking it to a mechanic for a thorough inspection and possible replacement.

Check your brake fluid level and make sure it's topped up. Low brake fluid can also cause grinding noises.
