Why is my Audi A5 constantly stalling?

I have a 2018 Audi A5 and it has been stalling frequently, especially when starting up or idling at a stop light. I've checked the fuel and it's not low. What could be causing this issue?

Hi Emily, intermittent stalling can be caused by a variety of issues. It's possible that there could be a problem with the fuel injectors or spark plugs. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic for a diagnostic test to determine the exact cause of the stalling. In the meantime, make sure to keep up with regular maintenance and avoid accelerating too quickly.

Hi Emily, another possible cause for stalling could be a dirty air filter or a failing sensor. I suggest checking and replacing the air filter if needed and getting a diagnostic check to see if any sensors need to be replaced. Also, try to avoid frequent short trips as this can cause build up in the engine. Keep an eye on your check engine light as well.

Hello Emily, have you tried cleaning the throttle body? A dirty throttle body can cause stalling and rough idle. You can use a throttle body cleaner and follow the instructions on the can to clean it out. If that doesn't solve the issue, it could be a problem with the mass air flow sensor. I recommend getting it checked by a mechanic.
