Why is my Audi A3 making a squealing noise when I press the brakes?

My Audi A3 has recently started making a high-pitched squealing noise whenever I press on the brakes. It seems to be getting worse and I'm worried it might be a serious issue. Can anyone help me figure out what might be causing this?

It's likely that the brake pads on your Audi A3 are wearing down and need to be replaced. It's a common maintenance issue that can be easily resolved by taking your car to a mechanic.

In some cases, the squealing noise can be caused by debris or dirt getting stuck in the brake rotors. Try cleaning them out or taking your car to a car wash to see if that helps.
