Why is my Audi 80 stalling at low RPM?

I have an Audi 80 with a manual transmission. At low RPM, the car will occasionally stall out. What could be causing this issue?

It is possible that your car's idle air control valve is dirty or malfunctioning. A good way to test this theory is to clean the valve and see if the stalling issue persists.
