Why is my Audi 80 shaking when I brake?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80 starts to shake when I brake, especially at high speeds. I don't experience any issues while driving, only when braking. Any idea what could be causing this?

It is likely that your brake rotors have become warped. This can happen due to normal wear and tear or from excessively hard braking. It is important to have this issue addressed as soon as possible to avoid further damage to your vehicle.

Another possible reason for shaking while braking is worn out brake pads. If your brake pads are close to their minimum thickness, they can create uneven braking which may cause shaking. Have a mechanic check your brake pads and replace them if necessary.

One potential cause could be a problem with your wheel bearings. If your bearings are worn out, they can cause your car to vibrate and may be felt most while braking. Have a mechanic inspect your wheel bearings and replace them if needed.
