Why is my Audi 80's engine making a strange noise when I accelerate?

I've noticed that when I accelerate in my Audi 80, there is a strange noise coming from the engine. It sounds like a clicking or grinding noise. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It's likely that the noise is coming from a worn out serpentine belt. This is a relatively easy fix and can be done at a local mechanic.

Another possible cause could be a problem with the spark plugs. I would suggest getting your Audi 80 checked at a dealership to see if this is the issue.

Make sure to also check the power steering fluid, as low levels can sometimes cause strange engine noises. A straightforward fix if this is the problem.
