I have a 2006 Audi 80 and it has been having trouble starting lately. The engine cranks but takes a while to actually start. The spark plugs and battery are new, so what could be causing this issue?
ReplyCheck your fuel pump. It might be failing and causing the delay in starting the engine. Also, make sure the fuel pressure is within the recommended range.
Try cleaning the air intake valve and throttle body with a specialized cleaner. Build-up on these components can cause starting issues.
