Why is my Audi 80 making strange clicking noises when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently purchased a used Audi 80 and have noticed that when I turn the steering wheel, there is a clicking noise coming from the front of the car. This only happens when the car is moving and it seems to be more frequent when I am turning at slower speeds. I'm not sure what could be causing this, can anyone provide any insight?

It is likely that the clicking noise is coming from a damaged CV joint. This can happen when the rubber boots protecting the joint from dirt and debris become cracked or torn. It is important to get this fixed as soon as possible to avoid further damage to your car.
