Why is my Audi 80 making a strange noise when I turn?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80 has been making a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel. It's almost like a grinding sound, and it seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be the possible cause of this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that the noise you are hearing is coming from your power steering pump. Over time, the pump can wear out and make noises like this. It is important to get this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible, as it may need to be replaced.

Another possible cause of this noise could be worn out wheel bearings. These are located in the front of the car and can also make a grinding noise when they need to be replaced. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have them check the wheel bearings and replace them if needed.

It could also be an issue with your CV joints, which are responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels. If they become damaged or worn out, it can cause a grinding noise when turning. I suggest having a mechanic inspect the CV joints and replace them if necessary.
