Why is my Audi 80 making a loud whining noise when I accelerate?

I have noticed that my Audi 80 is making a loud whining noise when I press on the gas pedal. It seems to get louder as I accelerate and the noise stops when I take my foot off the gas. What could be causing this issue?

It is possible that the noise is coming from a faulty wheel bearing. This is a common issue in Audi 80s and can be easily fixed by replacing the bearing. It is recommended to get it checked and fixed by a professional mechanic.

Another possible cause of the whining noise could be a worn out differential. This is a critical component in the car's drivetrain and should be inspected and replaced if necessary. Make sure to go to a trusted mechanic for this issue.
