Why is my Audi 80 making a grinding noise when I brake?

I have recently started noticing a grinding noise whenever I press the brake pedal on my Audi 80. The noise seems to be coming from the front left of the car. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

The most common cause of a grinding noise when braking is worn brake pads. It's important to have your brake pads checked and replaced if necessary to prevent further damage to your vehicle. It's also a good idea to have your rotors and calipers checked for any other potential issues.

Another possible cause could be a stuck caliper. This can cause uneven braking and lead to the grinding noise you're hearing. It's important to have this issue addressed as soon as possible to avoid further damage to your car's braking system.
