Why is my Audi 80 making a grinding noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80 is making a grinding noise when I accelerate, especially when going up hills. The noise seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The grinding noise could be due to a faulty wheel bearing, which can lead to serious damage if left unattended. It's best to have a mechanic check it out as soon as possible.

It's possible that your brake pads have worn out and are causing the grinding noise. Have a mechanic inspect your brakes and replace them if necessary.

A loose or damaged drive belt could also be the culprit. Have a mechanic check and tighten or replace the belt as needed.
