Why is my Audi 80 making a clanking noise when turning left?

I have noticed that my Audi 80 makes a clanking noise when I turn left, but it is not present when turning right. It also seems to get louder when I accelerate. What could be causing this issue?

First, check the condition of your CV joints and axles. They may be worn or damaged, causing the noise you are hearing. If they are in good condition, it could be an issue with your steering system, such as a loose or worn tie rod end. Have a professional mechanic check the vehicle for any potential problems.

Another possibility could be an issue with your suspension components. Worn ball joints or control arm bushings can cause similar noises when turning and accelerating. It is best to have these inspected and replaced if necessary.
