Why doesn't my Audi A4 start after sitting for a few hours?

I recently got my Audi A4 and noticed that it has trouble starting after sitting for a few hours. The battery and starter are fairly new, so what could be causing this issue?

Check your fuel pump and fuel filter. If they are dirty, it could be causing the fuel not to reach your engine.
