Why doesn't my Audi A2 start after it has been sitting in the heat?

I have a 2003 Audi A2 and it won't start after being parked in the sun all day. It cranks but won't fire up. What could be causing this issue?

It is possible that the heat has caused your fuel to vaporize, making it difficult for the engine to get enough fuel to start. You may want to try parking your car in a shaded area or using a fuel stabilizer to prevent this issue.
