Why does my Audi engine make a ticking noise when it's cold outside?

I've noticed that my Audi's engine makes a loud ticking noise when it's cold outside. What could be causing this and should I be concerned? I don't experience this issue in warmer weather.

This ticking noise could be caused by a build-up of oil in the engine. It's important to regularly change your oil to prevent this issue. If the noise persists, it may be a sign of a more serious problem and you should have a mechanic take a look.

The cold weather can cause metal components under your hood to contract and create a ticking noise. This is a normal occurrence and should not cause any concern. However, if the noise becomes louder or more consistent, it's best to have it checked by a professional.
