Why does my Audi A7's engine make a clicking noise on startup?

I've noticed that when I start my Audi A7, the engine makes a clicking noise for a few seconds before it stops. It doesn't happen every time, but it is a bit concerning. Has anyone else experienced this or know what could be causing it?

This clicking noise could be caused by a malfunctioning valve or a clogged fuel filter. It is recommended to have a mechanic check it out to prevent further damage.

This could be a normal sound for your specific engine type. If it bothers you and you want to be sure, you can bring it to an Audi dealership for a diagnostic test.

I had the same issue and it turned out to be a loose belt causing the clicking noise. It's an easy fix, just tighten it up.
