Why does my Audi A7 make a knocking noise when I brake?

I have been experiencing a knocking or clicking noise when I apply the brakes on my Audi A7. It seems to be coming from the front of the car and only happens when I am braking. What could be causing this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is likely that your brake pads are worn out and need to be replaced. This can cause a knocking noise when braking. You should have your brakes inspected and replaced if necessary.

Another possible cause could be loose or worn suspension components. If the noise occurs when going over bumps, this may be the issue. Have a mechanic check your suspension for any problems.
