Why does my Audi A6 make a clicking sound when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed a clicking sound coming from my steering wheel every time I make a turn. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of my car, but it's definitely not a normal sound. What could be causing this and is it something I should get checked out?

The clicking sound is most likely caused by a faulty steering column joint or bushing. They can wear out over time and cause the steering wheel to make noise when turning. It's best to have a mechanic take a look and replace any worn out parts.
