Why does my Audi A5 shake when I brake?

I have noticed that when I press on the brake pedal, my Audi A5 starts to shake. It only happens when I am driving at higher speeds. What could be causing this and is it something I need to get fixed immediately?

It is likely that your brake rotors have become warped and are causing the shaking when you brake. This is a common issue in high-performance vehicles. It is recommended to have your rotors checked and potentially replaced if necessary to ensure safe braking.

One possible cause for the shaking could be worn brake pads. If they are unevenly worn or have become too thin, they can cause vibrations when braking. It is advised to have your brake pads inspected and replaced if needed.
