Why does my Audi A5's engine oil level keep dropping?

I have noticed that the engine oil level in my Audi A5 keeps decreasing, even though I recently got an oil change. What could be causing this and what should I do?

It is possible that there is an issue with your Audi A5's oil filter, causing it to not properly filter the oil and leading to a decrease in oil level. It is also possible that there is a leak in the engine or oil pan. I recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to properly diagnose and fix the issue.

Another possible reason for the decreasing oil level could be a faulty oil pressure sensor. This sensor is responsible for monitoring the oil pressure and alerting you if it's too low. If the sensor is faulty, it may be giving false readings and causing your oil level to appear lower than it actually is. Again, it is best to have a mechanic check and replace the sensor if necessary.

If your Audi A5 is equipped with start-stop technology, it could also be a contributing factor to the decreasing oil level. The constant start and stop of the engine can put a strain on the oil system and cause it to burn through oil quicker. Consider disabling the start-stop feature or using a higher quality synthetic oil to combat this issue.
