Why does my Audi A5 make a squealing noise when I brake?

Recently, my Audi A5 has been making a loud, high-pitched squealing noise whenever I apply the brakes. It seems to only happen when I'm decelerating and the noise is coming from the front brakes. What could be causing this issue and is it something I can fix myself?

You may have worn brake pads that are causing the noise. It's important to get this checked out and replaced if necessary, as worn brake pads can affect your car's braking performance and safety. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic as soon as possible.
