Why does my Audi A5 make a rattling noise when starting?

I've noticed a rattling noise coming from the engine of my Audi A5 when starting the car. What could be causing this and is it something I need to be worried about?

The rattling noise could be caused by a loose exhaust heat shield. This is a common issue in Audi A5s and can be easily fixed by tightening or replacing the heat shield.
