Why does my Audi A5 make a grinding noise when I brake?

I've noticed that whenever I brake, there is a constant grinding noise that seems to be coming from the front of my car. It's starting to worry me and I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before and knows what might be causing it. Thank you in advance for any help!

Based on your description, it sounds like your brake pads may be wearing down. This is a common issue with Audi A5 models and it's important to get them checked and replaced as soon as possible to avoid any potential safety hazards.

I experienced the same issue in my Audi A5 and it turned out to be a problem with my brake rotors. They had become warped and needed to be replaced. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have them take a look.

It could also be a problem with your brake calipers. If they are seized or sticking, it can cause a grinding noise when you brake. I recommend bringing your car in for a brake inspection to determine the root cause of the issue.
