Why does my Audi A4 produce a rattling noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed a rattling noise coming from my Audi A4 when I accelerate. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

The most common cause of a rattling noise when accelerating in an Audi A4 is a loose heat shield. This can be fixed by tightening the heat shield bolts or using an automotive adhesive to secure it in place.
