Why does my Audi A4 engine produce blue smoke during acceleration?

I recently noticed that my Audi A4 produces blue smoke when I accelerate. Is this a sign of a bigger issue or is it a common occurrence?

Blue smoke from the exhaust during acceleration can indicate that your engine is burning oil. This can be caused by worn piston rings or valve seals.

It could also be due to a clogged PCV valve or leaky gasket. I suggest getting your car checked by a mechanic to diagnose the issue.
