Why does my Audi A4 engine make a clicking noise?

I recently purchased a 2019 Audi A4 and noticed that the engine makes a clicking noise. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

It is not uncommon for Audi engines to make clicking noises, especially during start up. As long as it goes away after a few seconds, there is no need to be concerned.

I have also experienced this issue with my Audi A4. After taking it to the dealership, I was told that it is due to some components being made of lightweight material. However, if the noise persists or becomes louder, it is best to have it checked by a mechanic.

I have been a mechanic for over 10 years and have seen this issue in many Audi A4 vehicles. It is usually due to a faulty hydraulic lifter or worn out valve seals. I would recommend getting it checked and fixed if necessary to avoid any future issues.
