Why does my Audi A3 have a clunking noise while turning?

I've recently noticed a clunking noise coming from my Audi A3 when I turn. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Your clunking noise is most likely caused by worn-out front control arm bushings or ball joints. These are common wear-and-tear items in any car, and can usually be replaced easily by a mechanic.
