Why does my Audi A2 vibrate when braking at high speeds?

I have noticed that when I am driving at high speeds and apply the brakes, my Audi A2 starts to vibrate. This makes it difficult to control the car and unnerving for passengers. Is this a common issue and what could be causing it?

This could be due to uneven wear on your brake pads. It is important to have your brake pads checked and replaced regularly to prevent this issue. Also, make sure your tires are properly balanced and aligned, as this can also cause vibration when braking.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A2 and it turned out to be a problem with the brake rotor. It had become warped over time which caused the vibration when braking. Have your brake rotors checked and replaced if necessary.

Another potential cause could be a malfunctioning ABS system. If your car is equipped with ABS, it may be worth having it checked by a mechanic to ensure it is functioning properly.
