Why does my Audi A2's engine make a ticking noise at start-up?

I recently noticed that my Audi A2's engine makes a slight ticking noise when I start it up in the morning. It goes away after a few minutes of driving. Is this something I should be concerned about?

The ticking noise you're hearing is most likely caused by the hydraulic lifters that regulate the valve clearances in your engine. This is a common issue in Audi A2's and is usually nothing to worry about. However, if the noise persists even after the engine has warmed up, it may be a sign of a more serious problem and you should have it checked by a mechanic.

This is a normal sound for Audi A2's and is usually nothing to be concerned about. However, if the noise becomes louder or lasts longer than a few minutes, it's best to get it checked out by a professional to make sure everything is running smoothly.

I had the same issue with my Audi A2 and after researching, I found out that it's caused by air and oil getting trapped in the lifters. You can try using an engine flush to clean out any debris and then change the oil to see if that helps with the ticking noise.
