Why does my Audi A2 make a squealing noise when turning at low speeds?

I have noticed a high-pitched squealing noise whenever I make turns at low speeds in my Audi A2. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this?

It is likely that your brake pads need to be replaced. The noise you are hearing is the wear indicator on your brake pads, letting you know it's time for a replacement.

E

If your brake pads are not the issue, it could be a problem with your power steering pump. It is important to have this checked as soon as possible to avoid any potential damage to your car's steering system.

D

Check the condition of your drive belt as well. Sometimes a worn out or damaged drive belt can cause noise when turning. If this is the case, it will need to be replaced.
