Why does my Audi A2 have a rough idle when I start it?

I recently bought a used Audi A2 and noticed that when I start the car, the engine runs very rough for about 30 seconds before stabilizing. What could be causing this and is there a solution?

This could be due to a faulty fuel injector. Try using a fuel system cleaner and see if that improves the idle. If not, it may need to be replaced.
