Why does my Audi A1 shake when braking at high speeds?

I recently purchased a used Audi A1 and noticed that it shakes quite significantly when I am braking at high speeds, around 70mph. I haven't noticed any other issues with the car and it drives smoothly otherwise. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

It is possible that your brake rotors are warped, causing the shaking when braking at high speeds. You may want to have a mechanic check and possibly replace them if needed.

Another possible cause for the shaking could be uneven wear on your tires. Make sure to have them rotated and balanced regularly to prevent this issue.
