Why does my Audi A1 make a whistling noise when I shift gears?

Whenever I shift gears in my Audi A1, there is a high-pitched whistling sound that occurs. It seems to come from the engine area but I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The whistling noise could potentially be caused by a damaged or worn out belt or pulley in the engine. It's important to get this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent further damage.

I had a similar issue with my own Audi A1 and it turned out to be a problem with the turbocharger. Make sure to have a specialist take a look and see if this is the issue with your car.
