Why does my Audi A1 make a strange engine noise?

I've noticed a strange clicking noise coming from the engine of my Audi A1. It seems to only happen when I first start the car in the morning, but then goes away after a few minutes of driving. Is this something I should be worried about or is it normal?

It's always a good idea to get any unusual noises checked out by a mechanic, just to be safe. But it's possible that the sound is just a result of the engine warming up and shouldn't be anything to worry about.
