Why does my Audi 80's AC only blow hot air?

I've recently noticed that my Audi 80's air conditioning only blows hot air, even when I turn the temperature dial all the way to the coolest setting. This issue seems to occur more often in warmer weather. Can anyone offer insight into what may be causing this and how it can be fixed?

It's possible that there could be a problem with the compressor or refrigerant levels in your AC system. It's best to have it checked by a professional mechanic to accurately diagnose and fix the issue. In the meantime, try using a sunshade and parking in shady areas to help keep the interior of your car cooler.

This could be an issue with the blend door actuator, which controls the temperature of the air coming from the AC. If it's malfunctioning, it may only be allowing hot air to pass through. A mechanic should be able to replace it for you.

Make sure to regularly replace your AC's cabin air filter, as a dirty or clogged filter can impede the flow of cool air. If that doesn't solve the issue, it's best to have a mechanic inspect the AC system for any potential leaks or malfunctions.
