Why does my Audi 80 not accelerate smoothly when cold?

I've noticed that when I start my Audi 80 in the morning, the acceleration feels jerky and not as smooth as when the engine is warm. Is this a common issue and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by a failing Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor. If the sensor is dirty or clogged, it can affect the air-fuel mixture and cause uneven acceleration. Try cleaning or replacing the MAF sensor.

Another possible issue could be a faulty engine coolant temperature sensor. If the sensor is not sending the correct signals to the engine control unit, it can affect the fuel injection timing and cause rough acceleration when cold. Have the sensor checked and replaced if needed.
