Why does my Audi 80 keep stalling at low speeds?

I've noticed that my Audi 80 tends to stall when I am driving at slow speeds, around 10-20mph. It has happened a few times now and I'm not sure why. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

The most common cause of stalling at low speeds is a dirty or faulty idle air control valve. This valve regulates the air flow into the engine when the car is idling. It is recommended to clean or replace the valve to improve engine performance.

Another possibility is a malfunctioning mass air flow sensor. This sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends the information to the car's computer. If it is faulty, it can affect engine performance and cause stalling at low speeds. Consider getting it checked by a mechanic.

One potential cause could be a clogged fuel filter. If the filter is dirty or blocked, it can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine, leading to stalling. It is recommended to replace the fuel filter every 20,000-30,000 miles to avoid this issue.
