Why does my Audi 80 engine make a ticking noise at low speeds?

I've noticed a ticking noise coming from my Audi 80 engine when I am driving at low speeds. It seems to go away once I reach higher speeds. Is this something I should be concerned about?

The ticking noise you are hearing could be due to a loose or worn out valve lifter. It's important to have this checked and repaired by a certified mechanic to prevent any further damage to your engine.

I've had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a faulty exhaust manifold gasket. It's a relatively easy fix but it's important to have it done as soon as possible to avoid any potential exhaust leaks.
