Why Do We Hear A Clicking Sound When Turning the Steering Wheel of an Audi R8?

I've noticed that every time I turn the steering wheel of my Audi R8, there is a distinct clicking sound that comes from the front of the car. It doesn't affect the performance, but I'm curious as to why this happens. Does anyone know the reason behind the clicking noise and if it's something I should be worried about?

The clicking sound is most likely due to a worn out steering column universal joint. It's a common issue in high-performance cars like the Audi R8. It's not a major concern, but it's recommended to have it checked out by a mechanic to avoid any further damage.

I have the same issue with my Audi R8 and I found out that it's caused by a faulty steering column bearing. My mechanic recommended replacing it and the clicking noise stopped immediately. It's a simple fix, but make sure to have it taken care of to prevent any potential steering problems in the future.

The clicking sound is most likely coming from the steering column shroud rubbing against the steering column. This can be easily resolved by tightening the shroud bolts or adding some lubricant to the area. It's a harmless issue and nothing to be concerned about.
