Why can't I start my Audi A8 after it has been sitting for a while?

Recently, I have been experiencing difficulties starting my Audi A8 after it has been sitting for a few hours. The engine seems to struggle and takes longer to turn over. What could be causing this issue? Is it something I can fix myself or do I need to take it to a mechanic?

Another possibility could be a faulty starter or starter relay. These components are responsible for initiating the engine's rotation when starting the car. If they are damaged or malfunctioning, it can result in difficulty starting the car.
