Why are the brakes on my Audi A5 squeaking?

I have noticed that my Audi A5's brakes have started to make a high-pitched squealing noise every time I apply them. It's quite annoying and it seems to be getting worse. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

It's possible that your brake pads have worn down and need to be replaced. This is a common cause of squeaking brakes. Take your car to a trusted mechanic for an inspection and they will be able to tell you if this is the issue.

Another potential cause could be the metal clips between the brake pads and rotors. These can become worn or damaged over time and can make a squeaking noise when the brakes are applied. Have your mechanic check these as well.
